Loutro Fish Village

Loutro is a small seaside village 96 km from Chania, in the south of Crete, sparkling next to turquoise water, with rocky mountains rising up behind it.

The tight little harbor of the village makes it a safe port even in bad weather conditions. Here are no large hotels, no crowds and no cars! Guests can access by driving to Sfakia, and then sail to Loutro for about 10min. Alternatively, guests can reach Loutro by hiking. Don’t miss the chance to sea kayak and to visit Marmara beach (accessible with a boat) and have lunch by the sea at the famous Chrisostomos tavern.

Swimming is enjoyable between April and November.
