A mountainous Cretan village! One of those that retain their traditional ambience, with a majestic centenary plane tree and founts with stone-built arches in the main square. The arche’s drinking water comes straight from the mountain springs, and the plane tree is the oldest in Crete recently proclaimed a protected natural monument.
Take a stroll in the pebbled alleys of the village and don’t miss the chance for a lunch in one of the local taverns!
